We need factories the size of Ibadan NOT churches, – DaddyFreeze replies Pastor Adeboye

We need factories the size of Ibadan NOT churches, - DaddyFreeze replies Pastor Adeboye
We need factories the size of Ibadan NOT churches, – DaddyFreeze replies Pastor Adeboye

OAP, DaddyFreeze has countered 77-year-old General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who during the week, said one of the things he must do before he dies is to build a church as big as Ibadan city in Oyo state.

Preaching on the third day of the Holy Ghost Congress 2019 holding at the Redemption Campground, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Pastor Adeboye said he has a plan of building a church as big as Ibadan. According to him, no one should believe he is dead until that is done.

Freeze has now countered his dream. In a post shared on his IG page this evening, Freeze said what Nigeria needs more of now are factories and not more church edifice as she already has enough of that. Read his post and share your thoughts.

GOD DOES NOT LIVE IN HOUSES BUILT BY HIMAN HANDS!!!

This in my opinion, is a selfish ambition (scripturally selfish ambitions are in the same category as witchcraft and sexual orgies), that does nothing for Christians, rather I see it as a quest to turn believers into beasts of burden!

? Galatians 5:20 ?
New International Version
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

The more I think about it, the angrier I get. Adeboye wants to use 3,080 square kilometers to build a church or a bigger business center, which one???
???

In this poverty riddled land, with more people in extreme poverty than China and India combined (according to worldpoverty.io), couldn’t he at least have been a little more creative????

We need factories the size of Ibadan NOT churches, we have way too many churches already.
With 10 churches on each street, we have so much religion, so much hunger and underdevelopment yet so little love.?

WE ARE THE CHURCH, NOT A BUILDING, the church is not the ‘house of God’, it’s just a building and God does not live in temples built with human hands.

? Acts 7:48 ?
New Living Translation
However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says,

? Acts 17:24 ?
New Living Translation
“He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples,

? 2 Corinthians 5:1 ?
New International Version
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

? Hebrews 9:11 ?
New Living Translation
So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.

Sad! Ghastly accident kills 28 members of same family in Bauchi State

No fewer 28 persons said to be members of the same family have been burnt to death in a vehicle accident that occurred along the Bauchi-Ningi Federal Highway in Bauchi State on Thursday, December 12th.

Secretary, North-West Zone of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abdullahi Yamadi, said the deceased were all his relatives saying they were on their way to Yola, Adamawa State, when the incident occurred.

He said, “Yes, the accident is true and all of the deceased are my relatives. They were traveling to Yola, Adamawa State, for a visit when the unfortunate incident happened. You know, after the harvest and at seasons like this, people travel to visit loved ones resident in different places; and that was where they were going to.

“They left Dutsinma, Katsina State, and they had left Jigawa State and were within Bauchi State when their vehicle had a head-on collision with another vehicle. They were 29 in the vehicle and all of them died except the driver, who survived.

“This is a very sad news and very pathetic for 28 people from the same family to die in an accident in one day. It is really sad.”

Your no visa policy for all Africans will lead to racial and religious catastrophy- FFK tells President Buhari

Your no visa policy for all Africans will lead to racial and religious catastrophy- FFK tells President Buhari
Your no visa policy for all Africans will lead to racial and religious catastrophy- FFK tells President Buhari

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has opposed the visa on arrival policy for all visiting Africans announced by President Buhari yesterday December 11th. President Buhari while speaking in Egypt, said starting from 2020, Africans who intended to come to Nigeria would no longer need to apply for visas as they would be issued visas on arrival.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, FFK said the policy is a dangerous, self-serving and self-seeking policy which will ultimately result in great conflict, carnage, racial and religious strife and total catastrophy.

Read the post below

A visa free policy for Africans to come into Nigeria is a shameless and subtle attempt to alter the racial and religious demographics of our country and open our front door for mass Fulani, Berber, Taureg and Arab migration into our shores.

By the time they come here from all over north and west Africa and settle down, we the indigenous people of Nigeria will be a tiny minority. The next thing they will do is to implement RUGA to the letter and take our land and insist on sharia law being implemented all over the country.

It is a dangerous, self-serving & self-seeking policy which will ultimately result in great conflict, carnage, racial and religious strife and total catastrophy. In an attempt to implement an ancient agenda of Fulani hegemony and turn us into a conquered and enslaved people Buhari, his born to rule co-travellers and their vast legion of slavish sympathisers and supporters are likely to set Nigeria on fire.

You will not believe me now just as you did not believe me when I warned about the true nature of Buhari in 2015 and the grave consequences of electing him as President.

Yet my words have proved to be prophetic and just as I have been vindicated on Buhari I shall be vindicated on this matter of the grave and dangerous consequences of visa-free mass migration by vagrant, stateless and nomadic Africans into our shores.

With this irresponsible, unpatriotic, dangerous and self-serving policy, I repeat, we are playing with fire and sitting on a keg of gunpowder which will eventually explode. It will be the final nail in the coffin of a united Nigeria. May God deliver us from the coming evil.

The case was adjourned following a letter by defence counsel, Mr Olalejan Ojo (SAN), who was not available.

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, has said that President Buhari is the most democratic ex-military president he has seen in his entire life.

Governor Bello said this while reacting to the decision by Punch’s editorial to henceforth refer to President Buhari as General Buhari.

Speaking to state House Correspondents in Abuja today Thursday December 12th, President Buhari said there has not been a more democratic ex-military head of state in Nigeria’s political history

“Mr. President is the most democratic president I have ever seen. This is the first time we are seeing a former military head of state that is so democratic to the extent of allowing things happening in his home front to be democratized not to talk of things happening in the country. Whoever is tagging him to be a dictator, I think that person wished to be a dictator himself not Mr. President” he said

Social media has led to lawlessness, violence and deaths – Shehu Garba

Social media has led to lawlessness, violence and deaths - Shehu Garba
Social media has led to lawlessness, violence and deaths – Shehu Garba

President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman Garba Shehu has called for the regulation of social media which according to him has led to lawlessness, violence and deaths.

The Presidential spokesperson who spoke at a media award event organised by Kawararafa Reporters, said the Nigerian government was not against free speech but against use of social media to wreck havoc.

Mr Shehu said;

“For instance, the entire Kasuwan Magani saga that resulted in the death of more than 50 people was because someone posted misleading information on WhatsApp that went viral.

“All countries in the world are trying to make laws to check the excesses. Many countries are trying to control the situation. The Europeans have placed a new law that holds the companies responsible.

“In United Kingdom, the parliament has received a report on social media. There is a youth addiction to it, just like cigarettes. Without any form of control, it has done harm to women, ethnic minorities, individuals, institutions and countries.

He also pointed out that journalists around the world undergo training, accreditation and licensing before practicing while social media users with a phone, a tablet or laptop anyone can reach millions, sometimes for good and other times with ulterior motives.

Garba Shehu further argued that the Nigerian constitution never anticipated social media, thus the need to tackle hate speech so Nigeria can be a sane place to live in.

He added;

“The federal government is saying that stakeholders should come together and agree on regulation. We know that no matter how bad the situation it favours someone.

“Some have argued that our constitution already has laws in libel, but the laws of the ‘60s never anticipated social media.

“No government has the right to muzzle freedom of speech. We don’t support the taking of lives as punishment. People insult others and share false information on social media. I hope that hate speech will be tackled so that Nigeria will be a sane place to live in.”

At least 5 dead and dozens injured or missing after volcano erupts near New Zealand

At least 5 dead and dozens injured or missing after volcano erupts near New Zealand

At least 5 people have died and dozens more have been injured or are unaccounted for after a volcano erupted off the coast of New Zealand while tourists were climbing on it.

Whakaari also known as White Island, located 48km off New Zealand’s North Island, erupted around 2.11pm local time on Monday.

At least 5 dead and dozens injured or missing after volcano erupts near New Zealand

A number of tourists were pictured deep inside the crater just moments before the blast. Others on a boat near the island had to flee as thick, black smoked billowed towards them.

It is thought around 50 people were on the island at the time of eruption, including New Zealanders and overseas tourists.

Australia has confirmed some of its citizens were involved, thought to be passengers from the Ovation of the Seas cruise ship, which departed from Sydney last week.

Eighteen survivors have been evacuated suffering injuries including severe burns and five people are dead, leaving an estimated 27 still unaccounted for.

Authorities say rescuers have been unable to get on to the island to check for survivors due to dangerous conditions, with experts warning there is a risk of further eruptions.

John Tims, who is helping to coordinate the rescue efforts, said the death toll is expected to rise once a search of the island is carried out, Mailonline reports.

“I can confirm there are five people now deceased from the eruption on White Island,” John Tims told reporters on Monday evening, December 9.

“A number of other people have been taken to a hospital. A number of people have burns as a result of the eruption. It is still too early for police to confirm how many people are involved.”

Authorities are yet to confirm the nationalities of the victims or assess whether there are still survivors on the island as they have been unable to establish communication with anyone there.

A no-fly zone over the area is now in effect.
